Look man.

Tom Brady is fine in the booth.
This is all relative.

Al Michaels and Bob Costas (who did the ALDS) are downright horrible overall.

Cris Collinsworth is goofy.
And Joe Buck is uninspired.

So it's not like Tom Brady has a high bar to clear.
Although off topic....Greg Olsen got hosed.

He’s been ok, iffy for sure but it was expected

Question is will they be able to keep Olsen if Brady doesn’t workout..

Collinsworth is the best color guy in the NFL in my opinion. Good insights and actual analysis of the game.

I think the main thing is he doesnt have a commentator voice. he lacks confidence and conviction when speaking. hes getting better with latter but cant really change his voice. a lot of qb turned commentators - Sanchez, Romo, etc have a lot of really annoying outbursts and I hear a bit of that in his calling of the game.

he will get better since he just started doing it

I been a Brady hater for a minute BUT honestly I like him just fine as a color commentator :manny:

He plays it straight and just tries to break down the action on field; not every color commentator has to be heavy on banter and jokes
