OK, I don't really care much for Daniel Bryan, but WOW @ this crowd reaction

Haven't really been watching the E for a while so I'm sure most of y'all have already seen this, but I just saw it myself......

I've heard Bryan was over but this is fukking INSANE. I thought he was just "kinda over" like Punk, but this is next-level

Man, I just personally don't get it. I don't get the appeal. The Rock's appeal is obvious.....but not so much with Bryan. I know he's a great wrestler and all, but.....I don't get what it is about this dude that can get an entire crowd to chant that "yes" shyt so strongly

It's because of how he's been built, dude is the ultimate underdog, EVERYONE loves the underdog story and that's why he's over now. That's the reason why I think WWE and a lot of fans see why they keep shytting on him...it's because people think that's his only draw...him being the underdog. They think if he wins the belt it will be "OK fukk this dude now".

Bryan can make damn near anyone look good in the ring. He had some great matches with Bray Wyatt and Orton this year.

-Huge Underdog; kayfabe and in real life; it's by sheer hard work that he is in the position he's in.
-One of the best in-ring performers in the world. In fact, the only people that outclass him are probably Japanese workers.
-The Team Hell No stuff put him way over as an entertainer, big props to Kane, the writers, and that guy that played their therapist.
-The "weak link" storyline put his entire character over; and this is coming from me, a guy that shyts on the booking and writing a lot but I give them props.
-The Sheamus 18 second loss at Mania got the smart fans behind him hardcore, and the not as smart fans followed.
-The YES chants were steadily gaining popularity, but then they exploded in Miami the day after Mania. Since then, the ball keeps on rolling, not just because most people are dumb and they just want to duplicate what they've seen on TV (Fandangoing) but the whole thing is perpetuated by everything else on this list.

Just my explanation for where most of Bryan's popularity comes from

It's an ongoing story..ever since WM 28, fans have been building to this point with Bryan.

Trying not get into the Underdog, there seems to be of a "Ultimate Warrior" spirit where he is always ready to pull double duty and never show signs of fatigue. Sure the size difference makes it funny because you have to disbelief that Bryan can kick the shyt out of someone; submissions/jiu-jitsu is another story. Besides that, he seemingly is the only person who can work with anyone; never a bad match. The only downside is if he was 6 inches taller, Vince McMahon would have push this guy to the moon because he is far from . Not to mention his mic work is passable, but the fans would have no problem seeing Bryan can Crocop a bytch with his kicks; Miniature Dan Severn.
