Ok i finally bought a 3t external hard drive but

the drive doesnt show , its a WD My Book Essential 3TB External Hard Drive
can anybody help

I think you need to run the WD Quick formatter, that is what I did with mine.

Yeah, I have the 2TB version. Had to do the same thing.
