Mann and Coffey got their shot and did well at times but they were safe low ceiling guys imo. I thought BBJ and Moussa were guys with higher ceilings, you could care less about those guys and that's perfectly fine, but they needed at least one more year with us and I thought they would be good role players for us. In other words, the safer guys got to stay and the higher potential guys, KPJ & Kai included, were let go.. Imo
One or all of those guys might end up successful. Might not have been able to do it here. But I'm not taking marginal success in garbage time for injured or bad teams as some indication that we lost a diamond in the rough.

Letting Kai go for that white dude whose name I can't even remember made no sense to me. So I agree with you on that. But idk if there were roster spot implications or financial shyt that made them want to do that.

The narrative is changing already. This is the new NBA folks. Everybody is talking ratings because its a Finals with no TMZ, Big Markets, or Big 3's. :sas2:
