This shouldn't be a surprise. Conservative states have been pimping the "government bad, public schools bad, teachers bad" line for decades. No one should be surprised that they started shorting funds for schools while the ignorant ass natives cheered them on. Now that they see what they're policies bought them, they want to cry on TV about it :yeshrug:

Wait until Trumps tax cut bills come due.

Not to belittle their point, but new text books aren't going to help anything. No better way to turn off a kid than dropping a twenty pound text book in their lap.

I hope they do get better funding, and that they don't waiste it on text books.
