This is a serious thread. Some people know my struggle (not going into detail). I've been making money on the side by doing gigs for random people.

However, was your early 20's hard? What did you do to overcome it?

Nah, mine was great. I started early though, so becoming almost totally independent during this time period was a natural progression for me.

Early 2000's was my early 20's.

What society doesn't tell young men is that our 20's suck ass!

while women (attractive ones) are damn near treated like celebrities.

I didn't start to get my shyt together until I was around 27. (meaning that I had that "good" job and all that). But I started at around 22 with a decent job at a very large oil/gas company. I made sure to start setting myself up early. No bullshytting and "finding myself" bytch shyt.

Dating is horible because these young girls around your age are being recruited by older nikkas with a lil money and stability. But don't be mad, cuz thats just nature. Women date for resources, thats just what it is.

But my advice is to set your mind to what you want to accomplish by the age of 22/23 and work toward that. Then set your mind for what you want to do for the second half of your life around 45 or so.

But you breh... YOU! need to cut out this weirdo shyt and just get to it.

I already know what I want to do finally at 24. However, it's hard for me. Like I said, I have a job coach and I've been in contact with her a lot. Been trying to find a call center or secretary job before the new year. I'm trying to take my A+ Cert next year. Because I want to do IT. Just did Pharm Tech because I was pressured into it, but I did gain two certs from that program.

Kinda sucked for me because I was in my early 20s when the recession hit :francis: so finding a job out of college was rough.

So I was relatively broke until my mid-late 20s.

Hard in what way?
Mentally?
Spiritually?
Financially?
Career-wise?

Well, yeah. It was hard in every area except having fun. Early 20’s felt like I was a grown child.
I had my own apartment at 21 and rather mature, but I was immature in the aforementioned. I didn’t gain full maturity until I took full responsibility of where I lacked.
