old heads what type of music did they play in clubs when y'all was younger ?

They played what was popular.....but any party that's worth a damn has a segment of the party for some old school shyt like LL "I'm Bad", Chubb Rock "Just The Two of Us", BBD "Poison", etc. I also miss the last 15-20 mins of a party being dedicated to slow songs......hell, do kids nowadays even know how to slow dance anymore???
Mainly Crunk and Reggaton.

shyt was kinda regional in the 90s/early 2000s since A lot of black cities had thier own club music.
Chicago, detroit, New jersey and baltimore all had their own brand of club music. New Orleans had their own thing too but I can't rememBer what it was called. DC also had their own thing with go go.

B.)Act as satellites to the larger areas.
New Orleans dance/break music is called bounce. Chicago = House
Bmore/Jerz/Philly = Club.
Detroit was Techno.
Gogo is the only dance genre with live instruments that hasn't been touched by cacs. It's too african.
