Did they have a whole gallery of them like bars do these days?
I can still hit up bars that are popping and social. Most tend to be removed from cool or hip areas.

One thing I've learned about cool people is that they don't mix. Going to trendy hip spots and everyone is clicked up. You go off the beaten path and you will find gems.

Best bar scenes today will be like that in a big city. Good in college towns and smaller towns as well.

there was music and dancing. everyone had a great time and talked to each other.
Socializing. One night stands aplenty. Every night was a chance to get your dikk wet. I’m 40, so I’ve experienced both eras, if you will. :francis:
These. You only cared about the TV if you were out with your boys to watch a game & they had the box TV's. Other than that we were out vibing & Talking to females, fukk the TV. Perved like :mjlit:

Lmao @ this random romanticization of the past thread. The role of TVs in bars today is the same as it was back in the day: no one cares what’s on the television outside of sporting events. What’s the point in comparing sports bars of today to regular bars of yesteryear?

“Drinking, dancing, and socializing” still go on at bars today. This thread would’ve rang more true if you compared the effects of smartphones on the bar scene. But TVs have the same exact effect as they’ve always had.

I went to a sports bar a couple of years ago and they had a big ass projection TV up in there. Had me like :mjtf:

The place looked like something from 1986, but the wings were :whew:
