you should read the last biography about him. There was a lot of information I didn't know about him. He had a friendship with legendary actress Minnie Gentry. She's known for roles in the Cosby Show, Malfcolm Jamal Warner's show Here and Now(as Mrs Hackett) and notably Joel's grandmother in Def by Temptation. They did a play together in Bmore and kept in touch. She's also Terrence Howard's great aunt. Tupac was a smart kid that just kept getting involved with the wrong people. That's what I always hated about him. He could have been so much more, though not as popular as he is NOW, but he could have made a difference since people followed him.

I remember in 50 Cent interview that he said Laurence Fishburne told 50 Cent that he didn't like Tupac. He told him it was because Tupac was so much smarter than everyone around him. He said he didn't like the way Tupac behaved because he knew that Tupac knew better.

Peer Pressure/Lack of a Father really took this brilliant kid out....his need to be accepted by a bunch of fukking losers who looked at Pac as a clown/mark for even wanting to be around them

Its like if Malcolm X lived but went back to being Detroit Red in the 70s breaking into houses and shyt......Crazy

There's another biography coming out this year from Jeff Pearlman that I hope will be even better. He did a great biography on Bo Jackson.

and that's my only problem with Pac. If he wanted to beef with Bad Boy, then cool.. I wasn't a big Bad Boy fan either. It has nothing to do with Biggie. These internet Pac fans are out of control. I have to remind them that Pac wasn't that much older than me. He's only 6 years older than I am and even as a 19 year old, I'm seeing this shyt play out and thinking "this can't be the same guy that made Brenda's got a baby and Papaz song". My mom was a 2pac fan. She bought Strictly 4 my nikkaz for herself cuz she liked Keep ya head up!! I just say that I didn't like how he turned out. That doesn 't make you "real" joining a gang after you've made it out the hood..
