Older generations wouldn't critique so much if the media wouldn't be so quick to compare era's

Its as if they feel compelled to defend what they did and its not right. The media's fascination with crowning someone great or the greatest. Basically the media dikk rides everything to the point of nausea. Debating in barbershops is one thing but I don't think some things need to be entrenched in the media. It's not fair the current or past generations. Comparing era's is stupid and all it does is cause one side to be forced to defend with they do or did.
