I was in the 4th grade, there was no noticeable uptick in crime from what I noticed. However someone did get murdered the night of 9/11 though.

Was a kid but honestly the overwhelming majority of Black/Spanish ppl in New York looked at that the same way we’re looking at Ukraine now…It’s very sad, but really didn‘t affect us. Wasnt no memorials in the hood that night or nikkas running to Manhattan to save ppl or no shyt like that.
