I ain't gone front.

Older nikkas around my way played Fight for your Right to Party and No Sleep til Brooklyn to death when it came out.

And Paul Revere was the shyt.

I didn't really start fukking with them like that until the Sabotage video, but I was never that big of a fan and never bought any of their tapes.

This is forever my shyt though...

3 Jewish guys without heavy black co-signs (a la Eminem) occupying a fun/playful lane during the Rakim/LL era. Just Curious
:hubie:
The Beastie Boys put LL on, his first show was opening for them.

AD Rock basically discovered him and co-wrote one of his first hits “I Need a Beat”

They did a lot to help pioneer old school hip-hop and Paul’s Boutique is a production classic. Even Chuck D was bumping their early records, and was friends with one of their first DJs.

Facts.

AD Rock picked LL's demo tape out of the throwaway box and made Russell and Rick listen to it.

If it wasn't for him, there'd be no LL Cool J.
