The consensus i usually hear is 1996 was pacs year. He was in his prime and on top. Realeasing all eyez on me and makavelli. But how about 1995? Even tho he was in jail, he releases one of the greatest albums of all time me against the world, he signs to death row, big media news, comes out of jail then collaborates with dre to make arguably the top music record in all music that year not just hip hop in california love. On biggies side, hes coming off of an all time album probably the biggest in hip hop history at that time. Is on all kinds of award shows winning countless awards etc.. So whose year was that

How old are you?

The south fukk with west coast more than the east. The east is lyrical the south isn't what big was saying was not resonating with the south. I only hear east coast people big up biggie

Bruh we talked about Big all day down South.

Pac was an after thought when he was in jail. He still had bangers like So Many Tears but Big and Junior Mafia was everywhere in 95

really tho

that ain't gangsta

Hit em up was that eras Ether. Even better than ether.

Took the concept for get money and flipped it to take money. shyt was mad funny and sad at the same time. I was a "fan" of both and didn't want to have to choose one or the other. "Me against the world" was a classic and far better than "ready to die" to me and still is.

Huh? Biggie was only big from
Pac was much bigger than. Biggie was played on the radio country wide but not on the streets country wide. Pac was played everywhere
Bone and 2pac were definitely running the streets album wise and selling faster than biggie. Those were the main albums coming out of trunks but overall biggie was running the game.

Matter of fact there;s audio of pac declaring "biggie and puffy were the crown fukking dons with just two million sales!"

I turned 16 that summer,my homie just copped the whip. I remember vivdly
