I don't even know why a country would want the Olympics in the first place. Sure, the short-term benefits are great but long term, the bad ALWAYS outweighs the good.

As for this train wreck, I think the Olympics ought to be cancelled. Someone might actually die from what's in the water.

Brazil's chicks are still fine, tho.

The Olympics pretty much skyrocketed the growth of Atlanta and plenty of the facilities are still being used. At this point the Olympics should only be held in the US, Canada, Western Europe, and Australia. China has way too much fukkery going on to include them now.
