Olympics start this Friday and there’s zero hype

I just found out the Olympics will be starting this Friday

This is probably the first olympics I can remember where I have zero hype. Empty stadiums at a time when most stadiums in the world are accepting crowds, the time difference, the anti black racism, etc. I think I’ll give it a miss. I might tune in for the 100m final and the basketball final if team USA makes it(they probably won’t with that team) but apart from that it’s all

I truly had no idea they were starting this soon till I read this thread. Damn, you’re right. A shame because I remember as a kid being very excited whenever the Olympics would happen and would look forward to the opening ceremony.
