Now, street nikkas who had guns on them probably didn't scatter at the sight of babyface, but regular people supposedly did THAT aspect of the Omar character is realistic

There was a guy I knew ( he’s still alive as far as I know) called Bay Billy that was seen as a stone cold killer people didn’t say Billy’s coming and take off and run but it was like when a cop showed up on the block nikkas would just start walking away.

Billy wasn’t a Omar he was more of a Chris but he didn’t hang out with the boss he was held at arm’s length sorta like Luca Brasi.

I think it was realistic for back then in the fact that as a hustler you gotta charge it to the game if you get robbed. You can’t make the block hot becuz you lost a few dime bags. It ain’t worth it. You just learn to move smarter

I was robbed multiple times when I sold weed back n the day and I think it was the same person. Those stick up kids used to move different. They moved in the shadows. You won’t catch them out and about and if you do see them it’s too late. Don’t get me wrong tho there’s a lot that get what’s coming to them and there were some head scratching scenes he was involved in on the show

These crews had too may opportunities to drop him. The writers had to do what they had to do to keep his character in the story.
