Honestly breh, Travis's studio recording (although still valid) doesn't do justice to his live shows. Son is the definition of a performer, and in all honesty if I had to pick one artist from the modern generation as the goat concert rapper it would definitely be Travis, his shows are beyond wavy. I've been saying this for a minute, but cats stay sleeping on la flame.

I’m prob one of the few ngs that likes Birds better than Rodeo.

I was disappointed in Rodeo tbh. I had no expectations for Birds and it turned out to be my fav release of that year.

Easily his best work to date.

When I heard that a few summers (2014) ago I was legit shocked that dude was making music that good.

I haven't really liked his studio releases (Birds In the Trap/Rodeo) but each of those albums had great singles and songs throughout it

Overall, the body of work itself just felt weak to me personally for a guy capable of crafting really good songs.

Travis ain't the most lyrical or talented but his ear for beats, the creativity in his vocals, and his ability to work with producers/engineers to craft his sound is really what makes dude stand out as one of the best new artist in the game.
