Do you respond this text?

Would you expect a response as the sender?

Someone sent me this message 20mins ago and they still haven’t reached so I hope she not sitting waiting for me to text ‘ok’ or some shyt.

:stopitslime:

Got me thinking when I tell someone Im on my way I don’t wait for confirmation I just turn up. We already made plans I don’t need to tripple check.

But I’ve had situations where for example I go pick up my kids and they not ready even though I told bm I am forwarding and she say ‘why didnt you call when I didn’t reply?’

I remember back before text message we would just touch road and inshallah we reach safe

Coli brothers and sisters, what’s the correct texting etiquette these days?

I may or may not respond with an ok after they tell me how far they are. If y’all arranged something just be there, fukk the texting exchange

You better there or within 5 minutes when I arrive though. Otherwise I’m on some “I’m about to bounce if you not here” shyt if you lying or no explanation

i don't like when people are inaccurate with the time. don't tell me 10 minutes if it's really gonna be 45. Don't say omw, then 30 minutes later say you just left the house.

it depends, but more than likely I’m not leaving until I get a response.
I’m responding as soon as I see the text too
