i ain't sayin' it ain't never been bumps in their careers as mcs because no nikka is ever without some wack shyt from time to time, but all in all, these nikkas reign supreme with their music :wow:

i got this one on right now and az never lost a step as a mc and always has had a great ear for beats :myman:

and this shyt sounds like az stepped right outta the 90's but in a great way. it still sounds so timeless and refreshin'. az got this way of stayin' true to himself and sound yet never soundin' dated :obama:

since when has NaS been consistent?

did you read my post? i mentioned that there's been bumps in his career like anyone else. no wack is immune to not bein' wack or puttin' out some wack shyt from time to time. every artist has a dud or less than their stellar work in their catalog.:francis:

but if you want me to be specific then post stillmatic, nas has been pretty consistent

he got stillmatic, god's son, street's disciple (really good considerin' it's a double disc too), hip hop is dead, distant relatives, and life is good

oh yeah, untitled too.

nas gets hate from his fans to stans (for not doin' illmatic 2) and then the haters who envy his talent

nas can't win for lose with a lot of people but people who know what's up and know what time it is, know what's up

I guess. He's been consistently decent for like 15 years now. Rarely exceptional.

i know where you comin' from with this, in regards to nas from his illmatic/it was written days but nas never really faltered with his lyrics and rhymes

the beats were a problem but lyrically? nas is the best :yeshrug:

I just heard a Nas verse on Rick Ross' latest weed plate where he said something to the effect of "ascending to hell".
I haven't memorized an entire Nas verse since maybe Gods Son from the 9th remixes. But hey, different strokes.

No, OP.

Nas and AZ are as consistent as each other, which is..not very consistent.

Scarface is damn consistent and flat out better. Scarface in another league tbh, and I'm not super crazy about all his music like that.
