In reference to the Spurs fear - as a whole… a lot of the (negative)stuff we’re used to seeing with this squad is dead and gone with this year’s team man. They’re winning games without Beal/Spence, playing elite defense, and got more easy double digit scorers than u can count on 1 hand lol. With no Rui still. Looking forward to our 3rd straight W come Monday.

You were saying?

Edit: Wizards have 0 Fast Break points, that’s an incredible accomplishment in today’s NBA.

22 years :mjcry:

To my credit I did say this in another thread…

A team can’t possibly just never win a road game in 20+ years without luck finally swinging their way eventually. Especially when they’re off to their best start in forever. The streak has to end. With that said, Wiz are on a road trip and just won back to back nights and only one day off before this game which leads me to believe it will be a letdown game :skip:

Do you think Beal is holding out for the Supermax to demand a trade?

Nope.

The 4 year $181M max extension was offered on October 1.

There’s no doubt the 5 year $235M contract will be offered on July 1, 2022 when he opts out.

No, I mean do you think he’s waiting to get that $235M offer then shortly after he signs it he’ll demand a trade?

Maybe. Depends on if they can go deep in the postseason. But that option will be there

What if Sixers make a massive trade deadline offer like Simmons, Thybulle, and 4+ future 1st round picks (when Embiid is in his 30s)? I think Wiz will have to strongly consider.
