That is interesting because I know people who have no interest in going to a work everyday and would rather sleep in until noon, play video games, get drunk, use drugs, etc. A lot of them are able to get disability through bullshyt claims.
But they are victims right?

Replace hard with smart. A lot of fools work hard and reap no rewards. Very few work smart.

I have a bit of a different perspective. Growing up in northeast Ohio, I have seen firsthand the destruction that liberal economic policies bring forth. I have witnessed a once prosperous city like Cleveland transform into an impoverished, crime ridden hell hole after decades of Democratic party control. I can look around to neighboring liberal cities like Detroit, Forth Wayne, Flint, etc and see the same despair. Then I see many of my friends and family packing up and leaving the region and moving on to conservative red states in the south to find jobs and better economic opportunities.
When I see that, all I can do is wonder how any rational person could ever support liberal economic policies when in my experience all they do is cause misery. Then I remember that people who are uneducated are a huge part of the Democrat base and things suddenly become a lot clearer.
You really think the demise of the manufacturing base in the rust belt is because of the policies of local mayors? Really?
Why do you think all the economic growth and job creation is happening in the south now?
