and pick the NBA awards.

I'll start off with mine:

MVP: Stephen Curry

No brainer here. Chef Curry running away with the award this season :whoo: Sabo woul've been the biggest threat but it looks like OKC will be between 15-20 games behind GS.

Defender of the Year: Kawhi Leonard

The Spurs have the best defense in the league (by a good margin) and Kawhi is looking at a back 2 back right now. Draymond is his biggest threat for the award.

Rookie of the Year: Karl Anthony Towns

No surprise here, he's been great. Kristaps has been too inconsistent to truly challenge for the title.

Sixth Man of the Year: Will Barton

Lowkey, this is by far the hardest award to decide this season. Lin, Oladipo, Iggy, Ryan Anderson, Joseph & Kanter all have good cases to make and I may be forgetting some. I don't think Thompson & Whiteside count, but if they do, then Whiteside winning it.

Most Improved Player: C.J. McCollum

Nearly 21 ppg this season on some good shooting numbers. Part of arguably a top 3 backourt in the league alongside Dame Lillard. I think he should get it but there's some good candidates as well: Barton, Drummond, Leonard..etc

Coach of the Year: Brad Stevens

The Celtics have looked good this year & Steven is the best young coach in the league. Kerr would have a good claim if the Dubs beat the Bulls' record but he missed how many games? Terry Stotts is a good contender as well.

All NBA Teams:

G - Curry / Lowry / Paul
G - Westbrook / Lillard / Harden
F - Leonard / Green / Davis
F - James / Durant / George
C - Cousins / Drummond / Jordan

This is assuming they keep the G-G-F-F-C format. Honorable mention, a.k.a. All NBA 4th team: Derozan (or Klay) / Thomas (or Wall) / Millsap / Aldridge / Gasol.

All Defense teams:

G - Paul / Butler
G - Allen / Lowry
F - Leonard / George
F - Green / Davis
C - Gobert / Jordan

Honorable mentions a.k.a. all defense 3rd team: Wall, Bradley (or Smart), Millsap, Crowder, Whiteside

All Rookie teams:

1st team: Russell / Mudiay/ Okafor / Porzingis / KAT
2nd team : Booker / Stan Johnson / Winslow / Turner / Kaminsky

Honorable mentions: Portis, Nance Jr., WCS, Hezonja, Lyles.

Missing a F here but good picks overall

Ya most of your picks seemed spot on as well. Only thing I really disagreed with was the defensive teams as I don't think Lowry/Cp3 deserve it over Bradley/Klay. Cp3 might get in on reputation, but he's regressed defensively.

What I think he's saying is there is zero chance that Dame will finish 2nd in MVP voting.
