it's good that they put that in the movie...and how they mentioned something similar at the table in the first one.

I was thinking that dialogue was from the first one. I barely remember anything from the second movie.

The ONLY time they mention this was at the table scene at the end, right before Mike tells everyone
he joined the Army.

It was when they were waiting for pop to come home, and Sonny is talmbat how
they just came from uptown and how all the (you know) were stuntin' up there because
they had all that money now. He expresses how he lowkey wished they would've got
in the game - and if you saw the first one, you know why they didn't.

So in those few moments - you get the picture of not only how they felt about Black folks,
but you also see why Sonny wasn't cut out to be a good don.

I've tried 2-3 times(most recent was Thanksgiving) to watch Godfather 1 and I just can't get into it. Maybe it's my age or short attention span :francis:
