It sucks because following Da Chronic, Illmatic, Midnight Marauders, 36 Chambers, and a few other Classic albums this gem went under the radar.

There was so much heat dropping during this time that you were damn near overwhelmed by great music.

But O.C.'s. Word...life should not be overlooked. For an albums that's 20 years old it's still extremely relevant today.

the beginning of this song sound familiar?

We still dealing with this issue today

Was not one of my favorites. I will give credit for you liking it as it had a few joints but I remember when Times Up played on BET and I was like I have to go get the tape. Outside of that and Constables I was disappointed but that was just the life of a kid who bought all the tapes that came out. But good recognition tho because Times Up is still one of my favs.

What other albums do you feel were underrated around that time? Wanna see if there's anything I missed.

yeah this album always gets lost in the shuffle. you really only see the heads mention this one. it's definitely one you can let play all the way through.

Classic.

The album he did with Apollo Brown a couple years back was fire too.

OC is rarely mentioned as a really good emcee. Crazy seeing how he's been around over 20 years. Unfortunately when you on tracks with cats like Monch and Nas, it's easy to overlook you.
