Valuing marriage, family and personal relationships in general
I feel like Boomers were the last generation to really take marriage and personal connections seriously.
Yea, Boomers had worse divorce rates than the silent generation but it's still significantly more than Gen X and Millennials.
Dual income is the one of the best ways to go in life, ask anyone who's in a serious marriage.
Also starting businesses and making investments with people you trust help mitigate the risk that are much larger when you go it alone. This applies across all classes.
These days the hustling mentality is much more self-centered than it was in the past which I feel carries more cons than pros. The internet gave us the luxury to create commerce with the click of a button with little to no actual business relationships.
Even something as simple as job searching was much easier in the past because you likely already had the relationships and knowledge necessary to get the job you want or needed.
