Saw this movie again; been years since I last saw it. It got me thinking: why would people follow a schizo with a split personality?

I can possibly see a few dozens of people since there have been crazy cult leaders in real life. But You can clearly tell he was fukked up.

-fighting himself in the parking lot. :dahell:

-constantly talking to himself. :dahell:

-Cats had to see him talk to his "vision" a lot.

I remember I had a hard-on for this flick. Now it's just whatever. Logic really takes away from it. Good flick tho.

I was gonna say there are billions of people on this world. Most just want to be lead by a charismatic dude who can change their life weather they believe hes crazy or not.

But what you said was perfect.

Read the book. Its displayed in a way that makes us think that anyone looking at Ed Norton kick his own ass, but he actually persuades people to fight him and to fight in general. The movie did a bad job at revealing those scenes, but ultimately when he talks to Tyler, it's an inner monologue followed by outburst asking questions to his followers.

Maybe it was done on purpose for exposition reasons. But when Meatloaf gets shot and killed they bring his body into the kitchen. Ed Norton comes in and asks what happened. Dude goes on to explain the plan and exactly what happens and that "they killed Bob!".

Then Leto says let's bury the body, and Ed Norton says, something like, we can't just bury him this man has a name.

Then other dude says, but in project mayhem we have no names. And Norton says his name is Robert Paulson then they all start chanting it.

So first of all, whenever Norton asked any questions about any of the plans, they always say, in project mayhem we ask no questions. Yet dude tells him the entire story of what happened and even says "they killed Bob". Yet a minute later the same guys says, in project mayhem we have no names.

Like I said, that whole scene could of been intentional, but I always notice that shyt and to me, they fukked up. Idk, maybe someone can explain :manny:

If we are going to call out certain things in the movie, how come the narrator didn't call Tyler out when he was critising the underwear model on the bus. About how he looked when Tylers body looked more gym made with more defined abs.:troll:
