One thing I CANNOT do- come home to a nasty kitchen :scust

When I was single it was a dealbreaker. A woman with a nasty kitchen is useless in my eyes. When my older kids wouldn’t clean up after themselves I would go ballistic.
The rules are- if u use it wash it. Dont let me see no dirty dishes or condiments on the counter. It’s worse when they just walk by it unnoticed. I’ve been known to pull ninjas out the bed to clean the kitchen. One time years ago I disconnected the dishwasher to get them use to washing everything by hand. A dirty kitchen is uncivilized might as well invite roaches.

There's nothing worse than a nasty bathroom and kitchen. Its the two of the most important places where hygiene is paramount. I don't blame the dad, when I came home to mess I would move the dirty dishes into the bedroom of the offender. Keep your trash in your space.
