So judging by the snippet, it's seem that life is good is gonna be epic

So are we agree once and for all that Nas has the best solo discography of us rap

I mean

classic/semi classic material

illmatic
it was written
stillmatic
god's son
life is good

good albums

i am
street's disciple
hip hop is dead
******

average albums

nastradamus

no to mention the lost tapes and distant relatives which are near classic and the average firm album which still contains classic tracks

Other than that I can only think of too short, ll cool j, masta ace, jay z, devin the dude or ice cube when it comes to solid discography, but none of them are as powerful or strong. Masta Ace and Devin are maybe the most consistent of the list with only good albums on their belt but no true hip hop classic

I think he's got an unfairly dimissed catalogue sometimes...

Plenty of people seem to trash everything he's done after Illmatic, but to me he's got one of the more solid discographies in the game to say the least.
