Only 34% of Steam users play games at 1080p, says Valve

Smh at all this master race talk and half these gamers don't even play at 1080P. No disrespect to my PC gamer because I am one myself but this stat is an eye opener.

According to July 2015's hardware survey, only 34% of Steam users play at 1920x1080 resolution, with 26% running games at the laptop standard resolution of 1366x768. Out of the gamers that opt in for multi-display gaming, a full ~29% of these users run at 3840 x 1080 resolution.

Well they have to keep upgrading, and obviously it's a pain in the ass. People have jobs and it takes too much time to upgrade so you can play Witcher 3 with decent visuals and framerate. For all the shyt talking about consoles, I wish the frames were better, yes. Really, I do. But I don't have time for all this shyt.

I don't play at max resolution if it sacrifices frame rate. I can't stand 30fps. I am definitely guilty of downgrading to 720p or whatever.

I even turn off effects or change aliasing to max the frame rate.

You realize that pc gamers have different setups right??

Some are on 1080p, some 1680x1050, some 720p, some 1440p, some 1600x900 because those are standard resolutions of THEIR monitor. Console gamers are either on 1080p TVs or 720p TVs. there's no 900p or 1680x1050 or 1280x1024 televisions.
