No diss but talk like that is told by the guy who sound like he never suited up one time, just fantasy and Madden
Like that guy who cant describe how a sweaty pair of shoulder pads smell after a game played in the rain let alone at the end of a season.
Like the guy who cant describe a pre-game meal
Like the guy who doesnt know how fukking itchy it feels to play on freshly cut grass or worse yet turf burn with that recycle tire shyt in ya socks.
Like the guy who never had to tackle a mediocre Running Back who people thought was good but actually was extra musty as fukk...which lowkey added to his YPC
Like all these sports nuts who swear they are the biggest fans ever and they had a chance to suit up...but they declined ....claimed they had other shyt to do
and definitely not a player who played on a championship caliber team HS College or Pro....shyt or Pop Warner either
i can tell u played and we all can tell he never played :dead:

I agree with you there. Deshaun Watson has shown wat a dual threat QB can be with actual talent (not sure Bill Obrien is any good as an offensive mind but hey)-I think most GM now realize that athleticism is always an asset at the QB position
& he's not a freak.athlete really

just considerably more athletic than the flatfoots they prop up as the prototype for qbs

Gap responsibility and scheme. OLBs that specialize in rushing the QB are regulated to the outside margins of the and in most cases line up on the strong side of the play. You see this more in 3-4 defenses where in the 4-3 that player would likely line up at the end position or a hybrid where the player lines up a little off the line of scrimmage. If that line backer is more of a coverage guy and occasional blitzer than he will be lined up in the weakside where he covers fullbacks or tight ends or he rushes the C gap or as a free rusher if there is no tight end on the weakside.

I hope I explained it ok.

Yep...and they use that prototype word as a coded word to mean original or basically in phrase
"we know he ain't all that but he white and we done plum ran outta position we can play in this game"

Kind of dumb to say the OL as one person.

It should be

1) Quarterback
2) Left Tackle
3) Defensive End
4) Strong Safety

if you're a lefty then that needs to be your right tackle or a good blocking tight end or rb, or FB. Depending on how your team is built the most important position can change. for example, good linebackers can make dls look good, if it's a 3-4 then your outside lbs are as important as your tackles, a good safety can make mediocre cbs look good. Good receivers can make average QBs look good and vice versa.

While I think a sold QB, tackles, center, and DEs are always vital, there is some truth to what you say. Like you say, the most important side of the offense changes depending on the QB's throwing arm, and a great DT, MLB, or safety can sometimes be as game-changing as a great DE or CB.
