Everyone says he has a long leash and his supporters would die for him but I don't see it lasting. He promised a lot of shyt and it wouldn't take much for those swing voters in PA, Michigan and Wisconsin to go back to blue. He also won't be able to play the outsider role and will have to rebrand himself. All he's going to be able to say is that 4 years isn't enough to get what he wants done

That's not how politics work. He won because the democratic base in certain states were not energized. If half of our nightmares come through, this guy is going to be throughly trounced.

Btw, running someone tired like joe Biden, will lead to a trump reelection. Please, no more octogenarians.

They will be energized to get rid of him and the republicans won't be as energized as they were to defeat Hillary. Hillary is the devil to most republicans. They won't be nearly as fervent against whomever the dems choose in 2020.

I actually think Biden would beat Trump but fresh blood is a better look. I see them grooming Chris Murphy but I'm not buying it

Chris Murphy doesn't excite anyone. Then again, we are years away from the nomination process.

If given the tv time and etc he can make an impact. Listen, he's a Hispanic and he did decent in the primaries as an Indie. Look at the record. No, he didn't win, but just campaigning and hardly any tv time he did okay. People want outsiders now.
