I don't think nikkas legit watched them Suns play because Nash was that dude. Kobe couldn't clamp up Nash in the playoffs and stop him from getting buckets.

Dude was legit unguardable and would be putting entire defenses in the blender on some "misdirection" ish. Mid-range was automatic, had off-hand finishes with both hands and going both ways, could split any double coming his way, had range, could score off the dribble, etc.

Ain't no way that you could have watched them 2005-2007 Suns and not had the utmost respect for Nash.
Yeah don't know where the Nash hate came from. He deserved those MVPs, those Suns were elite and he was the best player

They just couldnt beat the Spurs :blessed::myman:

I agree.. If Robert Horry didn't throw off the balance.. Phoenix was just plain better that year...

Nash deserved to win MVP but over Kobe is where it's debatable. Those mid-2000s Suns were fun to watch. I'm lowkey happy D'Antoni getting some shine in Houston. His stops in NY and LA were bad looks for him but he's a good coach

Nah, Nash showed out against Kobe in the playoffs and pretty much showed everyone that he was the worthy MVP both them years.

Remember averaging a triple double dont mean shyt unless you get 50 wins.. Tell me about this stat or matrix guy before Steve Nash.. Tell me about cool Joe that got 50 mill.. Tell me how Steve Nash not MVP in 05 and/or 06... Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns was murdering squads on site

Matrix was 20 & 10 with Kidd, Steph & Nash. Nash didn't improve ish for him.

No one says Nash wasn't good, but he gets overrated. He was 15 & 7-8 in Dallas, gets SSOL offense and puts up 15 & 11, they get rid of D'Antoni, instill a half-court, slow tempo offense and he's back to 15 & 7. And the Suns were never legit contenders. Name a year when anyone thought they had a serious shot at the title? Hell, Mavs became a better team without him...and playing an all ISO offense. Then let's not act like Nash getting MVP talk for only playing one side of the ball, when others are bashed for it. If Nash deserves 2, Kidd deserves one for doing more with less
