Announcements, Product

It’s been two months since we announcedGPTs, and users have already created over 3 million custom versions of ChatGPT. Many builders have shared their GPTs for others to use. Today, we're starting to roll out the GPT Store to ChatGPT Plus, Team and Enterprise users so you can find useful and popular GPTs. Visit chat.openai.com/gpts to explore.

Discover what’s trending in the store

The store features a diverse range of GPTs developed by our partners and the community. Browse popular and trending GPTs on the community leaderboard, with categories like DALL·E, writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle.

New featured GPTs every week

We will also highlight useful and impactful GPTs. Some of our first featured GPTs include:

  • Personalized trail recommendations from AllTrails
  • Search and synthesize results from 200M academic papers with Consensus
  • Expand your coding skills with Khan Academy’s Code Tutor
  • Design presentations or social posts with Canva
  • Find your next read with Books
  • Learn math and science anytime, anywhere with the CK-12 Flexi AI tutor

Include your GPT in the store

Building your own GPT is simple and doesn't require any coding skills.

If you’d like to share a GPT in the store, you’ll need to:

  1. Save your GPT for Everyone (Anyone with a link will not be shown in the store).
  2. Verify your Builder Profile (SettingsBuilder profileEnable your name or a verified website).

Please review our latest usage policies and GPT brand guidelines to ensure your GPT is compliant. To help ensure GPTs adhere to our policies, we've established a new review system in addition to the existing safety measures we've built into our products. The review process includes both human and automated review. Users are also able to report GPTs.

Builders can earn based on GPT usage

In Q1 we will launch a GPT builder revenue program. As a first step, US builders will be paid based on user engagement with their GPTs. We'll provide details on the criteria for payments as we get closer.

Team and Enterprise customers can manage GPTs

Today, we announced our new ChatGPT Team plan for teams of all sizes. Team customers have access to a private section of the GPT Store which includes GPTs securely published to your workspace. The GPT Store will be available soon for ChatGPT Enterprise customers and will include enhanced admin controls like choosing how internal-only GPTs are shared and which external GPTs may be used inside your business. Like all usage on ChatGPT Team and Enterprise, we do not use your conversations with GPTs to improve our models.

Explore GPTs at chat.openai.com/gpts.

A huggingface chat assistant
They know everything about the periodic table of elements - but they to speak in limericks and teach you something new in the process. They put the "try" in Chemistry.

this is pretty cool. :ohhh:

edit:
System Instruction
You are a professor with a vast knowledge of the periodic table of elements, including the history of each element and its relationship to others in the creation of complex compounds.

You are courteous and try to make complex subjects easy to understand by expressing your answers in the form of limericks that are funny but not rude.

Your inspirations include Dr. Richard Feynman and P.G. Wodehouse which means you have a touch of whimsy in your responses.

You will only answer questions about the periodic table of elements. And you will only respond in the form of a single limerick.

Once you have completed the limerick, you will end the response with a sentence starting with "Did you know that ..." where the sentence references one other element in the periodic table and gives context for how it is connected to the current one.

Move over, Apple's App Store. There's a new marketplace in town —specifically for builders to share their generative AI creations.

Artificial intelligence giant OpenAI launched its GPT Store last month to great fanfare. The marketplace, which is currently available to paying users of the company's popular AI chatbot, ChatGPT, allows builders to share custom GPTs that create art, boost productivity, and more.

The GPT Store launched two months after OpenAI rolled out GPTs, which are custom applications of ChatGPT that help users accomplish something specific, such as creating a tattoo design, reading legal documents, or learning rules to board games.

There's no coding required to create a GPT, and builders can share their custom apps within their social circles and workplaces or keep them to themselves.

Now, GPT creators can also verify their identity to share their applications on the GPT Store, and OpenAI will soon pay creators based on user engagement.

Representatives for OpenAI did not respond to Business Insider's request for comment, and it is unclear how many GPTs are available on the GPT Store and how many downloads there have been.

However, the GPT Store lists its most popular GPTs overall as well as in categories such as writing, productivity, and lifestyle.

Additionally, there are currently more than 30,000 GPT creators, according to an online directory published by OpenAI.

Business Insider has compiled a list of 13 of the most popular applications on the GPT store so far, in no particular order.

Image Generator

Creator Naif J. Alotaibi has built more than 100 GPTs, and one of his creations, which generates and refine images with ChatGPT prompts, is currently at the top of both the overall GPT Store charts and the DALL-E category.

Canva

Online graphic design app Canva launched a GPT that allows users to create presentations, social media posts, logos, presentations, and more — right in ChatGPT. It's currently ranked second in popularity on the GPT Store, as well as first in the productivity category.

LogoCreator

With Chase Lean's LogoCreator, users can enter prompts into ChatGPT that turn into custom logos and app icons. It's currently the third most popular GPT on the GPT Store, as well as number two among DALL-E GPTs.

Diagrams: Show Me

If you need a flow chart or bar graph to wow at your next business meeting, Diagrams: Show Me has you covered. The app, which was created by ex-Meta employee Kirill Dubovitskiy, lets users create diagrams and other visualizations to assist with coding, presentations, and code documentation. It's currently ranked fourth on the GPT Store, and second in the productivity category.

Consensus

AI research assistant startup Consensus launched a GPT that lets users search 200 million academic papers and create drafts with accurate citations. It's currently ranked fifth on the GPT Store and first among research and analysis GPTs.

Cartoonize Yourself

Built by creative director Karen Cheng, Cartoonize Yourself lets users turn themselves into Pixar characters. It's currently ranked sixth on the GPT store and third among DALL-E GPTs.

Dall-E

Dall-E is an OpenAI project that creates images generated by user prompts. It's the top-ranked GPT created by ChatGPT.

Data Analyst

Another ChatGPT creation, users share files with Data Analyst, which in turn analyzes the data and creates visualizations. It's the second most popular GPT created by ChatGPT.

Write for Me

AI text generator Write for Me, created by puzzle.today, promises to delivery high quality writing with a precise word count. It's the top writing GPT on the GPT Store.

Humanizer Pro

If you've ever been concerned that AI-generated text reads a little bit too much like a robot wrote it, Humanizer Pro is for you. Created by Charly AI — a company that also creates and sells custom GPTs for others — the GPT humanizes AI generated content to avoid AI detection. It's the second most popular writing GPT on the GPT Store.

Grimoire

Grimoire is for anyone who wants to build a website but doesn't know how to code. The GPT, which was built by Mind Goblin Studios, can create an entire website — or anything else — from a single sentence. It's the top-ranked programming GPT.

Universal Primer

Any question you have, Universal Primer has answers for. Whether you'd like to learn how AI transformers work, or how to code with Python, or the answer to a difficult math equation, the GPT, created by Runaway, has the answers. It's the second most popular GPT in the education category.

Kayak

Travel giant Kayak launched a GPT that acts as an AI travel assistant to help users book flights, hotels, and cars. It's currently the top-ranked lifestyle GPT.

can someone school me on how is this helpful to me, as a career, wire, mom woman?

is chatgpt an app that I can download?

I really want to get on this wave

it's useful to anyone who's interested in learning something new or getting some things done faster or better in many cases.

I suggest you open a text editor and write what you typically do throughout the day from monday to sunday then paste it into chatgpt and ask "how can chatgpt/AI could be of use to me?"

people use it for building schedules, charts, planning events, getting helpful guides/instructions, explaining phrases, topics/domains in various ways or, automating functions on the desktop, browser or programming external devices.

I have a whole set of instructions.

👇

“Instructions:

As the Court Coach GPT, you will have two roles:

1. defining lineups and
2. provide guidance on basketball rules and coaching advice.

When defining lineups:
- There are 12 people on the team, but some may be absent at any given game
- Ensure that there is a balance between experience and inexperience
- Unless absolutely necessary, no one should play back to back shifts
- There are 8 shifts per game with 5 players per shift and each shift is 5 mins long
- Halftime is after the first 4 shifts and players get a break
- There may be people absent and so I will tell you if everyone is present or if there are people missing
- After you generate a lineup, I may ask for some adjustments (like, “make sure (player name) plays the last shift”)
- I may also tell you partway through the game that we have an injury or someone who was absent showed up, so you should be able to rework the shifts as we go.
- I’ll be updating your instructions with games that we play and what the shifts actually ended up looking like so you can ensure that over the course of the season, everyone is getting fair and balanced play time. When considering everyone having an even amount of play time over the season, use the average minutes played per game as the indicator.
- If a player is absent from the shift list for a game, consider them absent.
- Each game should try to balance the amount of play time each player gets so its as even as possible, if specific players get less time in one game, they should get more in the next game so it’s balanced
- I also want you to be able to give me stats on play time for each player if I ask
- Near the end of the game, try to build stronger shifts to end the game strong
When showing a lineup, do not list the players experience number, as we don’t want any players seeing their number
- But for each shift, give an average experience number, so if a shift has a 2,3,4,5,2 - you write the heading as "Shift 4: (3.2)"
- After writing out a lineup, below all the shifts, please list each player and their estimated play time for the game given the number of shifts they have (eg, {name} 15 mins) ordered by the person playing the most to the person playing the least. Make this a table and include this info: Player Name, Shifts this game, Minutes this game, Past Number of Games Played, Past Total play time across all games, Average mins per game played
- Determine “Past Number of Games Played” by whether they appeared in at least one of the shift lists below for each games
- Determine “Past Total play time across all games” by taking the number of shifts they had in the games listed below and multiplying that by the length of a shift
- Determine “Average mins per game played” as (the number of shifts they’ve been in times the length of a shift) divided by the number of games they’ve played
- Do not list out the calculation of how you calculated the experience
- If I ask you for an overtime shift, the average score needs to be above 4.25
Overtime should not count as played time when ensuring people have equal shifts

List each shift in a single line, like this:

- Shift 1 (3.4): {name}, {name}, {name}…
- Shift 2 (3.2) …. Etc

List the play time like this as a table:

| Player Name | Shifts today | Minutes today | Games Played | Minutes Played |

Here is the player list.

I will give you a level 1 - 5 where 5 is experienced and 1 is inexperienced. If I dont give a number, assume a 3.

(Insert your list of names and numbers)

Previously Played Game Shifts

Game: (date of game)

Shift 1: {name}, {name}, {name} …
Shift 2: {name}, {name}, {name} …
Etc”

## asked bing
what does this google sheets formula do?

=UPPER(CONCATENATE("USER-",(LEFT(E5)&IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E5)),MID(E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1,1),"")&IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1)),MID(E5,FIND(" ",E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1)+1,1),"")),(LEFT(E4)&IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E4)),MID(E4,FIND(" ",E4)+1,1),"")&IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E4,FIND(" ",E4)+1)),MID(E4,FIND(" ",E4,FIND(" ",E4)+1)+1,1),"")),"-",(DAY(E7)),(MONTH(E7)),(RIGHT(YEAR(E7),2))))

## Bing response
This Google Sheets formula is creating a unique identifier for a user based on their name and a date. Here’s a breakdown of what it does:
  1. LEFT(E5): This gets the first character of the text in cell E5.
  2. IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E5)),MID(E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1,1),""): This checks if there is a space in the text in cell E5. If there is, it gets the character after the first space. If there isn’t, it returns an empty string.
  3. IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(" ",E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1)),MID(E5,FIND(" ",E5,FIND(" ",E5)+1)+1,1),""): This checks if there is a second space in the text in cell E5. If there is, it gets the character after the second space. If there isn’t, it returns an empty string.
  4. The same steps are repeated for cell E4.
  5. DAY(E7), MONTH(E7), and RIGHT(YEAR(E7),2): These get the day, month, and last two digits of the year from the date in cell E7.
  6. CONCATENATE: This combines all the above parts into a single text string, with “USER-” at the start and “-” between the name parts and the date parts.
  7. UPPER: This converts the entire text string to uppercase.
So, if E5 was “John Doe”, E4 was “Jane Smith”, and E7 was the date “2023-11-27”, the formula would return “USER-JDJSM-27-11-23”.
