O’Reilly: ‘Race Hustlers’ Want Us to Be ‘Nation of Witch Hunters’

Bill O’Reilly went off on a Kareem Abdul-Jabbarop-ed about racism Tuesday night, in which the NBA icon argued that the best way to combat racism (likeDonald Sterling‘s), is to “seek it out every minute of every day and expose every instance we find.” O’Reilly did not cast any aspersions on Abdul-Jabbar himself, simply arguing that what he is basically calling for turns the U.S. into a “nation of witch hunters” that the “race hustlers” get to capitalize on.
He asked, “Who exactly is in charge of defining and exposing every instance of racism? Who? Do we set up a tribunal in Salem, Massachusetts?”
O’Reilly pointed to a number of issues in which people who don’t “uphold liberal orthodoxy” have found themselves victim to the PC mob to argue witch hunts are already present and dangerous to the public discourse. He said that seeking out opinions just to punish them makes the U.S. like “totalitarian regimes.”
O’Reilly also boasted about how if Fox News did not exist, right-wing voices would be “buried” in “PC nonsense.”
