The middle and upper class c00n Latinos might vote for him but the street spics ain't voting for Oscar :francis:

I'm not sure why us blacks would want to vote for Oscar either :francis:

He has thr loot and he'd get 90% of the Hispanic vote automatically. He's seen as a bit of a c00n amongst Hispanics but it'd be there only chance to get a real Hispanic in the White House for the foreseeable future

He'd have to run as a dem though. The tranny shyt would sink him as a republican.

After Trump anything is possible.
It takes $100 million to run a presidential campaign. He doesn’t have that kind of money. Neither does Kanye which is what’s laughable about this. Trump spent $66 million of his own money on his campaign. While don’t think Trump is worth near the $4 billion he claims. He’s still worth enough to drop $66 million.

Kanye could probably get it if he pooled all the Kardashian money.

I think you overestimate how much Latinos care about ̶i̶d̶e̶n̶t̶i̶t̶y̶ politics. Antonio Villaraigosa just got destroyed in the California governor's race even though he's been a name in California politics for 20 years and had tens of millions of dollars spent on his campaign, he did decent with the Latino vote but no big majority and no spectacular turnout, and the pollsters said that even if the Latino vote had been tripled it wouldn't have pulled Villaraigosa into 2nd place. And that's California.

If being Latino can't even get you close to the governor's seat in California where they're 32% of the population, how is it going to get someone the presidency where they're only 12% of the population nationally and 1/3 of that is in Cali?

The Latino vote isn't big enough to make a difference unless a candidate has a lot of other things going for them. Democrats already pull 70% of that vote, maybe de la Hoya could increase turnout some but not enough to matter considering that no one else would take him seriously. No one cares about a boxer like that in 2018.
Fixed that for you :pachaha:

The reality is that the vast majority of Latinos are apathetic in the extreme to American politics.

It's actually pretty surprising given the intensity of political activity in much of Latin America...to the point of riots, street fights between political parties, guerilla movements, assasinations, etc.

But it really is the case. Other than the hyper-aggressive anti-Castro Cuban exile community in Florida (which is dwindling in numbers & influence as their most fervent members die off and American-born Cubans show little appetite for taking up the reigns) , Latinos have mostly been absent from American politics.

Otherwise all facts, dap + rep :salute::myman:

De La Hoya was worth 100 million back in 2002 during the Vargas fight. Are you ok? Lol.

People forget Trump spent years dipping into political opinions and policies since like the 80s and even did that birth certificate stunt to test the waters on a national scale to see what his support was like

It also didn't hurt that he runs a billion dollar business that gave him credibility cuz it's an organization

The average celebrity can't just jump into a race like that and expect success unless they somehow become so Damn nuanced and credible policy wise and great in interviews and can start to pull huge rally crowds

Only thing holding Oscar back is he's a drug addict. Trump is a degenerate but he's not an addict.

Otherwise he is a successful owner (Houston Dynamo worth 218 million) and businessman (golden boy promotions) and was arguably top 5 most well known as athlete in the 90's
