Bingo. There is a lack of cultural pride. A lot of us will deny this of course, but it's obvious by our actions.
And as DrX said, things in the black community are dysfunctional/abnormal. Under normal circumstance, able bodied men with any cultural pride would be trying to pull resources together and open some sort of small business of their own esp in their own communities. We would notice that there is a dire need for more black owners. We would notice that most of the owners in our own communities do not look like us and don't want to employ ppl who look like us. We would also already know that these foreign store owners (and non blacks in general) only care about themselves, it wouldn't even be up for debate, but instead we still have many who are easily fooled and weak, who rush to say things like, "Don't say this" why not say it? because it's the truth?
There's a definite lack of cultural pride, idc what some of these dudes in here claim, look at our communities, look at how we view and even defend other races etc. We should only defend black people and not allow ourselves to be so easily exploited and taken advantage of.

I notice this too, because i go in some of those threads and they never complain about it being repetitive, no matter how repetitive they are.
I think that saying this is "repetitive" is just one way to try to deflect from what you're saying, to be honest. They can't actually negate or refute any of what you said (notice that none of them did), so they use the whole "this thread again!" response to try to derail.
It's much more comfortable (and easier) to deflect from the truth and entertain ourselves with childish distractions like rap, sneakers, basketball games etc.

An employee at a business who's friendly and smiles at you while just taking your money and not truly caring about you? What kind of employee is that? Must be something wrong with them. All employees should be like drx. fukk all that fake smiling shyt. That's why I be having a serious face at work most the time. Don't want anyone that comes in there whether co-worker or customer to think I'm their "friend".

Speak for yourself I don't just talk. I'm a mechanic at my dad's shop in West Philly. Black owned business. We also employ black people in the neighborhood in need of jobs. The shop will be passed down to me, in which I plan to pass it down to my children.
Hilarious you claim all black people ever do is talk. How many of them are ever talking about real issues??? Threads like this hardly make it past 15 pages, because nikkas are either not intelligent enough to engage in the conversation, or come in the thread being all emotional and calling nikkas "c00ns" and "sellouts."
So how many black people are truly having these type of conversations???

But nearly half of those black-owned firms were launched in the past five years, The Wall Street Journal reports, suggesting the racial gap may begin to narrow in the coming years. Still, African-Americans' companies earn far less money than other firms.
Black-owned businesses tended to be smaller, representing less than 1 percent of the total sales, according to the survey. Sales at black-owned firms averaged $915,000, below the $2.38 million average for white-owned firms.
