As a child of a sharecropper who worked in the fields from the time they were 1 years old til they were 18 years old and promptly left those said acres of the Deep South the person that tweeted this is an idiot 
Also Black people moved to southern cities Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami, Houston, Jacksonville anywhere that was the God forsaken rural South where many lived in abject poverty. Anyone with any ounce of Black American history would know this.

My grandfather left the south because he couldn't profit off the land his family worked so he took his years of farming knowledge, metal work and construction and got a three story house in NJ with his 20 year old wife where he and my grandmother raised 6 children.
