Yes and I’m not bias

Jamaica was one of the harshest territories during the transatlantic slave trade, brutal conditions, extreme exploitation which led to major profits. But out of that came a lineage of people who had no choice but to be resilient, resourceful, and relentless. That legacy of survival and strength is why Jamaicans keep showing up and doing remarkable things worldwide.

its up there, my favorite is ethiopian/eritrean. just got gomen be sega last weekend :whew:
I've never tried it but white people seem to love that stuff.

I'm just worried about entering the restaurant and not knowing what to order. I have no frame of reference for their cuisine. Or even how to eat it, since I think it's meant to be hand food.

Mustard Island
More and more Jamaican spots specialize in mac and cheese and yams now
rice and peas and cabbage was basic as shyt and made them have to change it up :sas2:
They have the best meats tho :dame:. The meats get people into the restaurant and they choose ados sides out of necessity once they there
jamaican meats + ados sides might be the GOAT

The good life 😎
Nah. It is good but not the best. :unimpressed:

What does this have to do with food? Oppression makes for good food? I'm confused here. :why:

I think OP wanted to hear about goat, and rice and peas and stuff. Not to take away from your grand speech or anything.
