Big Boi has definitely shown a ridiculous amount of class and respect, while dealing with Dre and all his bullsh*t.

All of the money lost, all of the pivoting and reinvention he's had to do because of Dre's weirdness. And he still just keeps it chill with a lot of class and stays mad professional. Salute to him for that. Because most wouldn't be that way, under the same circumstances.

Facts. For all the partnerships where they talk about how they're basically brothers Outkast more than anybody displays that with how Big Boi seems protective of Andre and willing to put up with all his quirks. I respect the hell out of Big Boi for that.

Big spoke about it before, saying that he's been solo now longer than he was in the group.

And he mentioned that because the group ended, they lost out on a lot of bread and opportunities, but he respects Dre's decision. 'Kast was like The Beatles. Larger than life kinda group. They could've toured for another 30 years and been good. I can't even imagine the level of patience and understanding Big's had to have to just keep it pushing and pivot to doing other things. I have mad respect for him.

I didn't like it, at all.

Just had a talk about this offline, earlier. Problem is, Dre is all about himself. You get inducted into the Hall, you should support Big up there and do it for the fans. If he doesn't want to record new music, that's fine. But this is about giving something back to the people who supported the group forever. And also about him backing Big for the induction.

Big Boi shouldn't have had to do that alone. That was ridiculous.

THE REASON ANDRE3000 DIDNT PERFORM TOGETHER WITH BIGBOI IS BECAUSE OF THEIR CONTRACTS... EVERYTIME BIGBOI & ANDRE3K ARE PROMOTED TOGETHER AS OUTKAST THE GROUP.. THE RECORD COMPANY OWNS A LARGE RIDICULOUS PORTION OF THE OUTKAST THE NAME AND BRAND. THIS IS OLD NEWS THAT MANY PEOPLE EITHER ARENT AWARE OF.. OR IS INTENTIONALLY BEING SUPPRESSED FROM THE PUBLIC.

Outkast came before 360 deals. They have to jump through hoops to do songs together but performances are different. They did a entire tour in 2016 without issues. Their label is defunct and they are under the Sony label now. Laface is no more, Arista is holding on by a thread.This came out of Shanti Dias mouth (look her up)

On your side, off the coli I had a weird reception to it. The younger fans of Kast were sorely disappointed, whereas anyone my age was like "well, thats just Dre".
