The Atlanta hip-hop duo is indeed in talks to reunite next year for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, multiple sources have confirmed to Billboard. Under the current plan, Coachella, which kicks off on Apr. 11, 2014 in Indio, Calif., would be the start of the reunion run and would be followed by additional festival dates in 2014.

One source tells Billboard that there have definitely been “some conversations” about Outkast reuniting, while another says it is “all systems go” for Big Boi and Andre 3000 to end their hiatus next year. A rep for Outkast did not comment for this story, while reps for their current label home, Epic, as well as Coachella organizer Goldenvoice, did not respond to request for comment at press time.

I just cant get excited about this at all. truth be told....fukk Outkast. I do wonder if they will have the same type of revival as Wu been having in recent years. I hope not though.

great way to repay your loyal fans, 'kast....coachella is a mind-boggling expensive festival, whose audience is made up of about 99% white trust fund babies. There have been articles written about how crushingly expensive coachella is. I guess 'kast is simply rewarding the fans who helped them make it. This is why I dont really fukk with these nikkas like that.

$350 for 3 days of music isnt very much....most people who have half decent FT jobs can afford it

plus they have a payment plan for tickets....40 bucks a month (dont even notice that coming out of your account)...thats what i did for weekend 2 tickets

cheap price for the experience....and the sights/women you see...well worth it

lol....good to know that 350 dollars "isnt very much" to you, but thats just where the costs start.

Having to buy tickets for the whole festival, makes the costs associated skyrocket. You have to secure hotel arraignments, which are outrageous, or sleep in dirt or in your car...and a parking spot for three days. You're then forced to eat their food, drink their 15 dollar waters for 3 days, etc because you are stuck out in the middle of no where with no other options. Ive been to coachella. In years past they allowed you to purchase a ticket for the day of your preference, which significantly reduced costs. You could go see who you wanted to see, and bounce. Now you could easily spend 1grand for the festival. The fact that about 95% of the artists are indie rock bands, and EDM DJ's, its pretty clear who the intended audience of the festival is.

- hotels arent very much down there
-camping passes with cars can be split between like 20 heads and cost 80 bucks
-you can bring your own food and drinks to eat
-waters are 2 bucks once you are in the festival

The popularity of the festival has jump tremendously...its 2 weekends now...they have ZERO reason to make more work for themselves and sell single day passes. Also again 350 isnt much esp when you can do a payment plan with coachella. If you cant attend dont blame the festival, they arent stopping you from going...
