Outside of Detox, I'd like to hear another Method Man album produced by RZA

I guess this would be a much more realistic anticipation :yeshrug:

But I remember a while back there was talk about Method Man's next album being titled Crystal Method and how RZA was going to produced it from start to finish but is this album still in the works?

Method Man has been the nicest in the Wu for quite sometime now and he reminded cats just how talented he is when he released that 4:21 album a few years ago.

This freestyle he did on Westwood a while back was great too

But is this album still coming out? :dwillhuh:

Yeah, I remember that too. It took forever for that album to be released and then when it did come out, it wasn't anything like I'd hope it would be. Method was rapping his a$$ off (pause) but the production on the album was far from all that.

That'd be nice but I'd be good with just RZA doing the production and if there was additional producer then I'd say DJ Mathematics. But I would really like to see where RZA is with his production in 2013.

That's the thing. His heart isn't into producing anymore and honestly, they can't capture that sound from the 90's again, and why would you want to? To stay contemporary but still have that edge that made them Wu Tang, those dudes off GP would give them crazy sh*t. It's no shot towards RZA, but I havent anticipated anything from him in a very long time. He even said if Dilla were alive he'd hand over Production duties to him :mindblown:

Red Bull Music Academy @ Splash! Festival 2010: RZA talks about J Dilla - YouTube

I never said I wanted him to capture what he did in the 90's. I'm just interested in hearing what RZA's production sounds like in 2013 because back in 2007 with the Wu's 8 Diagrams album RZA had once again evolved as a producer. I'd like to see what he could come up with in the studio in this era of music.

That album was a good look for RZA as a producer because it showed he's capable of branching out with his production.

I waited on that Meth/RZA album for too long after Tical, and just gave up.

Those two should've knocked that out back when RZA was still focused on production and had that heat. Dude's so removed these days, and his tracks don't have that feel anymore. Meth should holla at Alchemist though. The shyt ALC hits Sean P with would work wonders for Meth. That would be mad dope.

If Meth and RZA could somehow put an album together with beats like this one RZA produced on OB4CL II and the verse Meth put on it... :wow:

Meths delivery is real stagnant right now, it's borderline abc rap. I can't do a whole lp of that flow.
That song with freddie gibbs is slumber music.
