I'm sure a player who can hand pick teammates would've made sure his front office would've let go of JJ Hickson to acquire Amar'e Stoudamire. Or wouldn't have left Miami over not having his way within the team (though that was about off-court entourages and not basketball personnel) and at odds with the executive 4 years later.

Or how about the young player he returned to Cleveland to play with being traded without his regards last off-season (due to sensitivity/ego), with the players acquired having to be moved again for players LeBron had no say in acquiring?

If LeBron has been "handpicking his teammates for majority of his career" he wouldn't need to change teams in the first place.

An executive listening to the opinion of his best player =/= handpicking rosters or else every franchise player since Jordan and including Jordan has "handpicked" teams at one point or another.

If you change teams you're literally picking who you're playing with fool :dahell:
