Damn, just looked up the stasts. Only about 1% survive to sexual maturity which doesn’t happen until they’re 20-50 yrs old they can live up to 200 years tho imagine if we could have a conversation with a 200 yr old turtle breh

Saw a picture of an old ass 150 year old turtle on twitter one day and one of the first replies was "He lived through slavery and did nothing" and now thats what I think about everytime someone mentions turtles can live to 200
