Overall, how has TheColi impacted your mental health?

This place has had a negative impact on my mental health overall. Most of the threads induce negative though patterns within me to the point it clouds my entire day. Especially the ones pertaining to racism, FBA vs non-FBA, social media clout chasing, and BW vs BM warfare.

With that said this place is funny as hell. And there isn't really any other place on the internet and speak our truths as black men without having our account deleted. Plus this place keeps me relatively informed about things you typically would see on other social media mediums.

When I first started posting in 2017-18, it had me feeling like all black women hate black men, wanted us dead, wanted mixed babies & I couldn't trust them at all. It affected my mental badly, not to mention that the dumb hoes on LSA/Twitter exacerbated my feelings.

Now, I learned to take an internet break every so often & get in tune with real life, talking to real people & conversing with black women in real life. There is a vocal minority that hates us, but most I've met show me love & are for us.

My guy we had someone photoshop a $82,000 check for internet clout on here.

90% of this site is cosplaying as highly idealized versions of what they want to be in real life. 5% are probably legitimately mentally ill. 5% are normal.

If you let what you see on here affect your mental health, this site ain't the issue.

I think The Coli effects a lot of posters in a negative way, especially these threads about women. All doom and gloom. Can't be healthy posting in and reading those threads.

It hasn’t hurt mine. It’s a good alternative to facebook groups, where I’d have to sensor myself. Never had any issues with anyone here.

Yeah I love that I can talk freely on here without any snowflakes trying to ban me. I’ve been banned all over social media for saying the same things I say here. At least here straight black men have a voice and we can see that we’re not alone in our thinking.
