I haven’t watched enough shyt teams to give a take like this, but I know last year the East was more competitive. And even the year before that IMO. GSW was so far ahead of everyone else on the court, Spurs were a good bit under them but over everyone else and then you had the field. I think 1-4 and 6-9 for the East were all within a couple games of each other

The best West teams have lost to East teams. GS lost to Boston and Detroit, Houston was nearly swept by Philly.

The bottom of the West is also pretty off IMO. OKC is heralded as a title contender still but that team is routinely getting outplayed by other garbage squads. TWolves are just a mess of talented parts and no system, they’ll falter like all Thibs teams. The Pelicans are a meme (a very good meme however).
