That's a societal issue across cultures and races, it's not just a black boy/men thing. Boys get coddled, girls get pushed out and expected to be independent/get married/etc. You see it in Hispanic culture, Italian culture (The Sopranos put it on full display with AJ and Meadow...), etc.
The problem is that the economy has shifted so much that these men can't find the success they once did. For decades a man could skip college, fukk up and fall into a nice factory/blue collar job. With enough money to get married, have kids, buy a home, and send the kids to college. Those jobs are largely gone or restricted today, and men haven't really reacted. Instead men are skipping college, getting low paying jobs, and living just enough to take care of themselves with no shot at buying a house or raising a family. This is BAD.

We get that. What you don't understand though is that it's become socially acceptable to make klan like statements about black men and boys from all groups. Twitter and tiktok aren't "just the internet". Twitter alone is a major media outlet now, and it's full of all out racism against black men and boys how from all groups. I remeber a twitter thread about a black boy getting in a fight with some white kid. The comments under that tweet were reminiscent of rhe kkk (people were saying that the little kid should get the death penalty) .

Agreed. This is something that doesn't even need to be debated once you take the butthurt emotions away. There's an age old saying: "Mothers love their sons and raise their daughters." You're right in that this isn't a specifically "black" problem but society is much more kind to white men of this condition. Society doesn't give black men the luxury of "failing up."

IMO a big issue across the board is trying to raise boys and girls with a different set of rules in a society where they both have to face many of the same issues. I believe that you should raise all children to obtain the same level of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual maturity to be able to face a world that will throw the kitchen sink at them. If you do this they will have a wider perspective and more complete toolset to navigate life.This helps ensure they can better adjust to whatever situation they are in. You raise boys with one set of rules and raise girls with another set of rules you end up creating halfway prepared people which we see TOO much of today. Folks walking around with crazy incorrect assumptions/expectations about each other and backward ass ways of thinking on some, "Men do ABC, women do 123".
We really are living in a "positionless basketball" society but still trying to raise an antiquated point guard who can only pass and can't shoot and raise an antiquated center who can only rebound/defend. A person with a FULL skillset is going to be able to do it all AND apply it accordingly such as a man knowing when to lead, protect and stand his ground, but also knowing when to be a nurturer, show compassion and follow someone who is more knowledgable.

I agree with you and have said this before, most recently yesterday in the thread about black parenting. But to go back to my point, this discourse isn't new. Go listen to Hispanic women talk about Hispanic men (specifically Mexican men). It's the same bullshyt discourse on everyone's algorithm, only difference is we see the black shyt because we're black. But my girl is Mexican and trust me...I see that shyt in real life and online.
