Hbo was so experimental back then. Way more than now. It was gritty as fukk. Not sure that part of it survives anymore. Larry sanders, oz, sopranos. It really did start with oz in a way.

Show was incredibly nasty. To this day I can’t watch that shyt with all the rapes and stuff
