But when did you say no to selling?

Cause every time you build something a little bit successful, someone is going to try and buy it.

There are people just trying to make a buck, and there are people trying to build something. It's two different perspectives.

After you a billionaire

That’s when you say no

let's say you have a product or a process, you know it's the idea of the century and it can be turned into a huge corporation.

Will you sell it for a billion or will you take the chance/risk to keep it to yourself?

As far as I know, mots black entrepreneurs that sold their business and became billionaires after just got "stuck" at that "level".

This perspective will create a certain number of rich black folks, but not big black corporations.

Another issue, I think, is the lack of black capital.

They didn’t have to be stuck. But if they are. Well, either they lacked imagination or maybe they just wanted to chill and retire. WHICH IS COOL too. If you don’t want to start another startup/business idea or if you can’t find another good idea which is kinda unbelievable but let’s say you can’t, you can do what cacs been doing since forever and play investor. Doesn’t require the same ingenuity and innovative thinking that comes with building a brand up, just money, connections and knowledge. With billions of dollars, you can go into real estate like yesterday and start caking. And as long as you smart that cash flow is forever. Or go into private equity and build a portfolio of companies you own. Essentially what cacs do when they buy black businesses out. What Buffett does. Now YOU can be that “cac” buying nikkas out. You dudes gotta stop thinking with a closed mindset. If you start a multi million dollar business in your studio apartment with $1,000 in the bank, imagine what opportunities are available to you with 9 figures in the bank.

I see your point, and there is nothing wrong with this. It's good to see brothers make money.

But next to this, we also need black entrepreneurs building black corporations. But your point is legit.
