But weren't the players (older vets) on board with this from the jump because a) increased their market value and b) prolonged their careers?Didn't they effectively do this before when they capped first round pick salaries? I remember they were upset Sam Bradford demanded a bigger contract than Peyton Manning without even playing a game yet in the NFL when he got drafted.
