I always liked how the songs he made for the radio or video, he would write entire new verses that would be classic rather than just bleeping out the cuss words. Everyone knows about "I Aint Mad At Cha," but this here might be one of his most underrated verses.

I knew of his Death Row songs being edited in 1996, but didn't know there were radio versions of How Long Will They Mourn Me and Pain.

What other rappers did this? I know Krayzie Bone brought a completely different verse on Look Into My Eyes, and Bone used to tweak some lyrics rather than backmask things (Eazy-E yelling STUPID SUCKERS on Foe tha Love of Money comes to mind). Domino's first album had clean versions of every single song, so AFD aka Ass for Days became BFD aka Back for Days. Warren G had clean versions of his singles, and they never even bothered to release the explicit version of Regulate. These are just some of the clean albums I had back when my mom used to police that stuff.... Ha ha.

It's sad. I never listen to the radio, but had it on the other day and some song came on where every third word was bleeped out. Artists are lazy as hell these days.
